Carmel Pak U Secondary School is a government-subsidized school founded by the Evangelical School Development Incorporation Limited in 1979. English is the main medium of instruction in the classroom.
The school is founded on the Christian faith with the aim of providing students with the Christian whole-person education in order to cater for their moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual needs.
In light of Luke 2:52 in the Bible, four committees, namely Academic Affairs, Discipline & Moral Education, Religious Activities and Extra-curricular Activities, have been formed to develop students in wisdom, in stature and in favour with God and men.
Additionally, Guidance and Award Scheme Committee has been set up to guide students to balanced growth and acknowledge their attainments through the CPU Award Scheme.
